Details:
High-performance 3-conductor power cable designed for uncompromised Audio applications, the FP-S032N exemplifies craftsmanship and technical expertise, establishing its premium positioning as intended by Furutech.
Each conductor is composed of a central core with 1 x 37 strands of Alpha OFC Copper (α) with a diameter of 0.25mm, and 2 x 37 strands of silver-plated copper, resulting in three 2.5mm² conductors.
Each bundle is individually insulated within a 3.4mm polyethylene sheath. The entire assembly is then double-protected with a 12mm internal PVC sheath and a braided copper shield. This braided sheath consists of 9×24 strands of 0.12mm Alpha α conductors.
Furutech’s proprietary anti-magnetic Alpha α process, used on all metals, involves two steps:
1. Cryogenization of metals at -250°C using liquid nitrogen, aiming to consolidate their molecular structure and significantly enhance their conductivity.
2. Exposing these metals to a powerful magnetic field created by ring magnets, with continuously controlled attraction force to eliminate any residual magnetism after treatment.
This second step, developed in collaboration with the Japanese company SEKIGUCHI MACHINE SALES, makes Furutech cables exceptional conductors for any electrical signal involved in sound reproduction.

High-performance Schuko plug:
The Schuko plug is ideal for creating an uncompromising audiophile power cable. In addition to its gold-plated copper contacts, it also benefits from Furutech’s proprietary Alpha α anti-magnetic treatment, which involves two steps:
1. Cryogenization of metals at -250°C using liquid nitrogen to consolidate their molecular structure and significantly improve their conductivity.
2. Exposing these metals to a powerful magnetic field created by ring magnets, with continuously controlled attraction force to eliminate any residual magnetism after treatment.
The Schuko plug also utilizes the patented « Floating Field Damper System » technology, which almost completely eliminates the creation of micro zones of magnetic and electrostatic turbulence inside the plug, disturbances caused by current passing near certain sensitive constituent parts (metal fixing screws, cable clamping elements, etc.).
These « floating » force fields conflict with the much more powerful primary magnetic flux generated by the current passing through the cable and connectors, effectively inducing a form of electrical resistance detrimental to conductivity, and potentially generating a form of distortion. FURUTECH manages to control these phenomena by connecting all the concerned metal parts together using a conductor that channels all these unwanted energies to the ground.
The plug’s body is made of composite nylon and fiberglass injected with carbon particles, demonstrating extreme resistance to shocks, electrical arcs, and high temperatures. The conductors are secured using three screws (2 poles + ground), color-coded, and the firmness of the hold, achieved through FURUTECH’s « Wire Clamp » technology, eliminates any risk of accidental cable disconnection or damage, while significantly improving the contact surface by about 17%.

The Viablue ferrite reducers eliminate high-frequency electromagnetic interference (EMI) and the noise they induce within your audio cables. An essential component for designing high-quality HiFi cables, ensuring a clean signal for optimal sound reproduction. These ferrites are easy to install, sliding onto the cable and secured with two M4 1.5mm hex screws.
Ferrite is a ceramic material composed of iron oxide and other metal elements, all of which are electrically non-conductive, making it an excellent insulator.
